I then switched the piece of music from mp3 to wav. and imported it to my animation, i didn't need to make too many changes as it fitted in pretty much perfectly i just needed to fade out the end so it gradually stopped instead of just cutting off. As the piece grew and the story built the music got more powerful and linked really well with the piece.
